HOW TO DONATE
We, the members of the Save Arnold Barn (SAB) steering committee, thank you for your interest and support of this important community initiative.
In the past few months, SAB members have worked with several architects to assess the barn's current condition, engaged a structural engineer to develop a plan to stabilize barn, asked a professional mover of historic buildings whether the barn could be safely moved, and met or talked with City Council, stakeholders, past and current owners, and many others to try to save this barn. It is a work in progress!
We are pleased to announce that Historic Routt County, a well-respected historic preservation nonprofit with the mission "To preserve yesterday's places for tomorrow" supports the SAB initiative and is now our fiscal agent. This enables you to make charitable donations to Save Arnold Barn. The funds SAB raises will be used for professional evaluations, research, outreach, and interpretation of the barn -- and are not intended to absolve the barn owner(s) of their legal obligations.
Tax-deductible donations can be accomplished several ways. All gifts will be gratefully received and acknowledged.
